Our expertise lies in ideation, design, analysis, and technical documentation of direct-fit, high-performance Vehicle specific products that integrate with, or replace OEM Body, Chassis, Powertrain, and Suspension Systems.
Examples of Vehicle specific products:
Whether you're a new company or established one doing business in Aftermarket Automotive or Powersports and you're wanting to develop top-tier products to make a premium name for yourself, we'll help you realize that goal and gain market share.
The products we've developed to date have grown our customers' product lines and their reputation with many of their end-users writing 5-star reviews on those products.
Javelin Mech understands manufacturing of Mechanical Components and we apply DFMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly) principles for each component of a Product we design, to be within manufacturing vendor's capabilities.
We are proficient at applying published best-practices in designing lightweight, strong, and durable components.
We provide selection and specifications of:
3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) is among our top specialties, from simple models to large, complex Vehicle assemblies.
We maintain newest version of CAD software by Dassault SolidWorks and subscribe to Autodesk Fusion 360, to collaborate with our customers who use those engineering software packages.
We provide 3D design of:
To accelerate Vehicle Specific Product Development, if you're not already a SEMA Tech Transfer member, we'll connect you to the engineering team at SEMA Garage and help you enroll in their Tech Transfer program to obtain 3D CAD of Vehicles direct from top OEMs.
Many of our customers are SEMA Tech Transfer members and we have hands-on experience using their Data Request system to submit documentation necessary to obtain approvals for CAD data.
SEMA also offers an extensive 3D Scan library of Vehicles not included in their top OEM upfitter list. We can use these scans to design your product.

Though we prefer designing products using 3D CAD of Vehicles from SEMA or direct from the OEM Upfitters, that's not always possible.
Instead of designing products like the old days, with lots of hands-on concept building, and many costly design revisions, we start by creating a digital representation of each Vehicle area using 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering software.
The result of creating a digital representation of the Vehicle is a product design that works great, with few, or no design revisions.
→ This means faster to market and lower development cost ←
If you're located in Arizona, or Colorado we can scan your vehicles and parts ourselves.
If you're located in Southern California, we can arrange for you to have scanning completed by SEMA Garage.
We are experts at reverse engineering through 3D Scanning and have implemented our own Quality Control procedure to ensure every scan captures Vehicle points accurately.
When critical, we hard measure features to validate 3D Scans.
